Memorizing vocabulary
To get to intermediate level, students need to learn upwards of 3000 words, which is a tough task. But it's much tougher given that students forget up to 80% of what they learn within a day and 98% of what they learn within a month!
Helping students remember vocabulary
This week we look at what's worth getting students to remember about vocabulary and look at how to effectively present vocabulary. We'll also look at strategies that teachers commonly use (like teaching new language in lexical sets) and look at how useful these are in helping students remember new language.
